I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Brain and Cognition Laboratory at the University of Oxford working with Kia Nobre. Further, I am a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College.

My research is funded by the German Research Foundation. I am interested in how the synchronisation of environmental and brain rhythms shape our auditory and visual perception. Currently, I am focusing on how neural oscillations contribute to cross-modal perceptual processing.

Prior to joining the Brain and Cognition Laboratory I completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Salzburg and a MSc in Neurocognitive Psychology at the University of Oldenburg. I received my PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oldenburg in the Neuropsychology Lab working with Stefan Debener. In addition to science, I love music, in particular playing the piano and accordion.

Excited to share our pre-print on how auditory rhythms can influence our visual perceptual processing.

See also our review article in which we discuss how cross-modal influences are mediated by the synchronisation of neural oscillations.
